Road Violations
Our tours follow strict traffic regulations at all times. Our guides are fully versed in current Thai road laws and lead by example. Riders who stay within the lead and support guide formation should not incur any road violations.
However, our tours operate an open policy — riders may choose to deviate from the scheduled route and explore independently. In such cases, Motorbike Madness accepts no responsibility for any accident, injury, speeding fine, or road violation of any kind.
Safe Riding Protocol
Our tour routes include a variety of road conditions, both on-road and off-road, in fair and sometimes challenging weather. Our experienced guides require riders to follow a safe riding protocol under certain conditions.
During daylight hours in good conditions, riders are free to ride at their own pace and make alternative plans.
Guide supervision is required during night riding (in the event of late arrival at a destination).
Guide supervision is required during heavy rain or poor visibility.
Guide supervision is required for off-road riding in areas known only to our guides.
Tour Changes & Route Adjustments
Thailand is a developing country, and occasional changes to our set itinerary may be necessary due to roadworks, flooding, civil unrest, or border restrictions. We also update routes when we discover more exciting roads or trails.
In all cases, a suitable alternative route will be provided. Riders must accept these conditions before the start of their tour.
Motorcycle Clothing & Gear
All riders are strongly advised to wear appropriate motorcycle clothing throughout the tour. Helmets are a legal requirement in Thailand and must be worn at all times.
Motorbike Madness provides helmets, gloves, boots, and protective pads in standard sizes. Riders with non-standard sizing may need to supply their own gear.
Food & Beverages
All tours include a comprehensive breakfast, which varies by location but is typically served as an international-standard buffet. Lunches feature authentic Thai cuisine, including local specialities unique to each region.
Alcohol is not provided on tour, and drinking while riding is strictly prohibited. Complimentary cool drinks and towels are available during road trips, and frequent stops provide opportunities for snacks and coffee.
