Day 1 — Pattaya to Nakhon Ratchasima (348km)
Travelling up to Nakhon Ratchasima on panoramic back roads passing lakes and glorious countryside. Great twisty winding roads with technical off-road sections through rubber trees and wooded areas. We ride the curvy lakeside road around the Khlong Si Yat reservoir, stop at the "Relax" for a well-earned lunch break, then ride an amazing off-road track to an elevated wooded viewpoint with striking views.
Nakhon Ratchasima — locally known as Korat — is one of the major Isan cities, well renowned for silk weaving, clay pottery, and quality handicrafts.
Day 2 — Nakhon Ratchasima to Khon Kaen (244km)
Stepping back in time as we pass through traditional Thai villages with their charismatic charm. A pitstop at the beautifully preserved Phimai Historical Park — a fantastic photo opportunity. Then the flowing twisty route to the Chi River and lunch at the beautiful Naramit Na Café with fabulous garden views and Italian-inspired ornate statues.
Khon Kaen is a vibrant university city famed for high-quality silk production, with two major rivers — the Pong and the Chi — running through it.
Day 3 — Khon Kaen to Udon Thani via Sakon Nakhon Loop (348km)
Today's spectacular looping route takes you to the best spots of the region. We ride through Marahat Park with panoramic lake views, cross the 2km elevated Thepsuda Bridge over the Lam Pao river, then tackle one of Thailand's most famous biker roads — consistently voted one of the best motorcycle roads in the world — with cliff-top viewpoints past the awe-inspiring Nam Phung lake.
Before the day concludes, we visit the spectacular Nong Han Kumphawapi lake famed for its stunning Pink Lilies — also known as the Red Lotus Lake.
Day 4 — Udon Thani to Chaiyaphum (258km)
The best curvy routes along the dramatic Ubolratana Reservoir with birds and wildlife. Lunch with fabulous waterside and mountain views set within beautiful grounds and paddy fields. We pass through Wat Prong Chang Pha Sawan Monastery — popular with paragliders — then ride a twisty elevated road past Mor Hin Khao park with its purple and white sandstone rock formations, arriving at Pha Hua Nak viewpoint with magnificent countryside views.
Day 5 — Chaiyaphum to Pak Chong (259km)
Back into the heavenly countryside and super flowing back roads. We ride the trail around the beautiful Pasak River, passing the elegant elevated Khoksalung railway bridge over the lake — a tranquil riverside lunch stop. The ride continues through temples and beautiful scenery, including a stunning tree tunnel avenue, before arriving at our hotel on the edge of Khao Yai National Park.
Day 6 — Pak Chong to Pattaya via Khao Yai National Park (270km)
The home leg — and it's simply stunning. Khao Yai is one of Thailand's best and largest national parks. The road through the centre is a magnet for motorcyclists with scenic tight fast curves. Fresher air and cooler temperatures make it home to elephants, monkeys, and many bird species across over 2,000 km². We then guide you through the renowned Bo Thong district with some of the best flowing sweeping bends in the southeastern region, alongside magnificent limestone mountains.
